1. Who We Are

NexC Solutions LLC ("NexC Solutions", "we", "us", or "our") is a software company registered in the state of Tennessee, United States. We develop and publish mobile applications on Google Play and the Apple App Store. This Privacy Policy applies to all applications and services published under our developer accounts.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on the application, we may collect:

• Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and company affiliation provided during registration.
• Location data: GPS coordinates at the time of specific actions (such as clocking in or out), used to verify work zone presence. We do not track location continuously in the background.
• Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostic purposes.
• Usage data: Feature usage patterns, session duration, and error logs to improve app performance.
• Push notification tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to deliver in-app notifications.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate our services and applications.
• To verify employee attendance and work zone compliance (for workforce management apps).
• To send relevant push notifications based on your preferences.
• To improve app performance, diagnose errors, and develop new features.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

• Your employer or company administrator: For workforce management applications, supervisors and company administrators may access employee time records, location check-ins, and attendance data as part of the service.
• Service providers: Third-party providers including Firebase (Google) for notifications, Stripe for payment processing, and cloud infrastructure providers. These providers are bound by data processing agreements.
• PostHog: Analytics and error diagnostics for the Preznt iOS and Android app.
• Legal authorities: When required by law or to protect our rights.

Mobile App Analytics and Diagnostics

In the Preznt iOS and Android app, we use PostHog to understand feature usage and diagnose errors. This does not describe an integration on the website.

Events configured by Preznt include screens visited and the outcomes of login, registration, clock-in and clock-out, location permission requests, and photo evidence uploads. An upload event indicates that the action occurred; it does not send the photograph to PostHog.

We may associate these events with internal user and company identifiers. We also send role, language, platform, app version, build number, and environment. For errors, we send the error type and technical stack trace, without the original error message.

Events defined by Preznt for PostHog do not include GPS coordinates, photographs, email addresses, names, phone numbers, passwords, notes, or file contents. This applies only to PostHog events; Preznt still uses the data described above to provide its services. This does not describe fields the PostHog SDK may collect automatically.

Our project is configured in PostHog US Cloud. Session Replay is disabled. If you use Preznt outside the United States, these events may be processed in the United States. For users outside the United States, this may involve an international transfer to the United States.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Time and attendance records are retained for a minimum of 12 months to comply with labor record-keeping standards. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

We also retain Preznt mobile app events sent to PostHog for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), JWT-based authentication, device attestation (Google Play Integrity API and Apple AppAttest), and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our applications are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
